Cranmer Studio Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the use of the Cranmer Studio website (https://www.cranmer.studio) and to bookings made for residential workshops organised by Cranmer Studio.

Cranmer Studio is the trading name of The Cranmer Partnership, which owns the physical premises used for workshops.

Bookings and website operations are managed by de Bono Rights Management Ltd ("we", "our", or "us"), acting as the booking agent.

By using our website or making a booking, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use this website or attend our workshops.

2. Types of Bookings

a. Individual Bookings: You may book a place at a course marketed and organised by Cranmer Studio for your own attendance.

b. Third-Party Hire: Third parties may hire Cranmer Studio to run their own courses or events. In such cases:

  • The third party is responsible for organising the course and delivering the service.

  • The third party’s own booking terms and conditions will apply to participants.

  • We accept no responsibility or liability for the content, delivery, or management of third-party events.


3. Workshop Bookings (Cranmer Studio Organised)

  • Bookings are provisional until confirmed by email.

  • A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place.

  • The balance is due 30 days before the workshop start date.

  • Payment must be made by bank transfer. Instructions will be provided upon confirmation.


4. Cancellations and Refunds (Cranmer Studio Organised)

  • Cancel more than 30 days before the workshop: refund of payments (excluding the non-refundable deposit).

  • Cancel 30 days or fewer before the workshop: no refunds.

  • You may request to transfer your booking to another person or a future workshop up to 7 days before the start date (subject to availability and approval).

  • No-shows: the full fee is retained.

  • If we cancel the workshop: you will receive a full refund, but we are not liable for travel or accommodation costs.


5. Participant Responsibilities

  • Inform us of dietary, access, or medical needs when booking.

  • Ensure you are physically able to participate.

  • Travel insurance is recommended.


6. Intellectual Property

  • Except for work created by you, all materials, content, and course design are the intellectual property of Cranmer Studio and/or its instructors. Reproduction without permission is prohibited.


7. Photography and Media

  • We may photograph or film parts of the workshop for promotional purposes. We will ask for your consent and respect your wishes if you do not want to be included.

  • Please ask for permission before taking your own photos or videos while at Cranmer Studio 


8. Liability

  • Attendance is at your own risk. We are not liable for injury or loss unless caused by our negligence.

  • We do not accept liability for your belongings or personal travel arrangements.


9. Website Use

  • Do not use the site unlawfully or infringe others' rights.

  • We may update content, suspend, or withdraw the site at any time.


10. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.


11. Updates to These Terms

  • We may update these terms occasionally. Updates will appear on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the website or services indicates acceptance.
